Tournament Details

The Sandpiper Spring Series Open is an 18-Hole stroke play Championship for Professionals and Amateur Golfers (0-16 index).

Full Field Size: 100 players
Professional Purse: $5,000 (based on 40 Pros).
First place: $1,000. Top 40% payout
Amateur Payout: Top Gross Scores in each Division win gift certificates and prizes from Perfect Lies and other sponsors.

Eligibility
Open to all VGT Professionals and Amateurs 0-16. Priority will be given to VGT Members in the Professional and amateur field. Non-members are eligible to play when field size is not full at time of Registration Deadline (usually 1 week in advance).

CLEVELAND GOLF/SRIXON CANADA Order of Merit

Order of Merit (OOM) points will be awarded in each category of membership. Professionals OOM is based on a player's cash earnings and Amateur OOM is based on the following point system:

1st Place: 600 pts 11th place: 100 pts
2nd Place: 400 pts 12th place: 90 pts
3rd Place: 300 pts 13th place: 80 pts
4th Place: 240 pts 14th place: 70 pts
5th Place: 220 pts 15th place: 60 pts
6th Place: 200 pts 16th place: 50 pts
7th Place: 180 pts 17th place: 40 pts
8th Place: 160 pts 18th place: 30 pts
9th Place: 140 pts 19th place: 20 pts
10th Place: 120 pts 20th place: 10 pts

SRIXON BALL BONUS:
A total of $500 in bonus money is available for VGT Professionals endorsing the SRIXON BALL. A $250 bonus will be paid to the top VGT Member playing the SRIXON BALL at the end of the SPRING and SUMMER ORDER OF MERITS.

CLEVELAND GOLF BONUS:
A total of $500 in bonus money is available for VGT Professionals endorsing CLEVELAND GOLF equipment (min. 9 clubs). A $250 bonus will be paid to the top VGT Member playing CLEVELAND GOLF equipment at the end of the SPRING and SUMMER ORDER OF MERITS.

Course Details
Canadian golf course designer Russ Olsen has done an amazing job of taking advantage of the spectacular blue-green water and mountain vistas that surround Sandpiper Golf Club. This spectacular resort-style course provides golfers with constant variety and varying degrees of difficulty with breathtaking views. The par 72 course runs 6,500 yards from the black tees.
